About

Matt Gunderson is a fixed-wing single and multi-engine commercial pilot, certified flight instructor-instrument (CFII), multiengine instructor (MEI) and advanced and instrument ground instructor (AGI) with over 21 years of flight training experience. Matt is a factory-trained and accredited Platinum Cirrus Standardized Instructor Pilot (CSIP), American Bonanza Society (ABS) BPPP instructor, and an FAA Safety Team (FAASTeam) representative for the Des Moines FSDO.

Matt has a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Minnesota, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Iowa. Matt worked in Performance Engineering for Delta Air Lines before joining Collins Aerospace as an avionics systems engineer. Matt has extensive experience in avionics engineering and is Garmin-factory trained on the G500/G600, GTN6X0/7X0, GNS4X0/5X0, and G1000 avionics systems.
